The 23rd Japanese Speech Contest for Open Category

Japan Club of Kuala Lumpur (JCKL), the Japanese Chamber of Trade & Industry, Malaysia (JACTIM), the Embassy of Japan in Malaysia, and the Japan Foundation Kuala Lumpur (JFKL) in cooperation with the Japan Graduates’ Association of Malaysia, will be organizing the 23rd Japanese language speech contest for open category which are divided into 2 classes beginning this year, namely ‘90-day Class’ and ‘91-day Class’.

• Kuala Lumpur Preliminary

Date & Time : 5 August 2007 (Sunday)

90-day Class : 1pm to 2pm

91-day Class : 2:30 pm ~ 3:30 pm

Venue : The Japan Club of Kuala Lumpur Hall

Eligibility :

1. Malaysians who are 18 years old and above as of 1st April 2007.
2. Previous winners are not eligible.
3. Have not taken compulsory education in Japan.
4. A non-native Japanese speaker and neither of his/her parents is Japanese.

Date & Time : 26 August 2007 (Sunday)

90-day Class : 1pm ~ 2pm

91-day Class : 2:30pm ~ 3:30pm
